Further on the issue of eating disorders, such as bigorexia, bulimia, orthorexia. The practical part is focused on the input data of the examined subjects. Alcohol use among women in their middle age: series of case studies

Background: The case study is focusing on women who have completed alcohol dependence treatment in their middle age. The research studies the reasons for getting addicted, which are based on true facts. The research as well as practice shows that middle age is highly risky to develop addiction. The topic is insufficiently discussed yet actual. Targets: The object of this work is to describe and understand the issue of alcohol dependence in women in their middle age whit higher socioeconomic status. . This issue is described in the case studies of three respondents who meet the selected criteria. Methods: The practical part of the final work consists of case studies based on moderated interviews. These were created from the anamnestic sheet, from questions focused on the researched issues and from supplementary questions. The data were processed by a narrative method. Results: The stories of our respondents are different but factors that lead them find a solution in alcohol are similar. They describe emptiness, loneliness, sadness, change of appearance, health issues related to higher age and also pressure at work. The alcohol made them feel better but also it caused they remained addicted. The pattern of using alcohol is for each respondent different. Expected change did not happen, on the contrary...
Problems of alcohol use among women in their middle age with higher socio-economic status as a means of life change: series of case studies

Background: The case study is focusing on women which have completed alcohol dependence treatment in their middle age. Look into the causes of addiction which are based on facts. This topic is insufficiently discussed but still actual. Targets: The object of this work is to describe and understand the issue of alcohol dependence in women in their middle age. This issue is described in the case studies of three respondents who meet the selection criteria. Methods: The practical part of the final work consists of case studies created on the basis of moderated interviews. These were created from the anamnestic sheet, from questions focused on the researched issues and from supplementary questions. The data were processed by a narrative method. Results: The results show that middle age and related events are risky for the development of addiction. However, this doesn't mean that alcohol is a means of life change. Rather, we can talk about self-medication. Conclusions: The conclusion of this work can be considered that the awareness of the risk of addiction, rick factors, stressful situations and the possibility of professional help for middle- aged women is very low. These results could be the basis for the development of education and the introduction of screening programs, especially for this group...
Risks of being on diet for middle - aged women

The bachelor work focuses on the risks of women's diets in middle age (45 - 60 years of age). The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part characterises generally the period of menopause which just emerges in the women's middle age. It refers to the basic principles of rational eating. It regards the issues of overweight and obesity and related reduction diets and their impact on health conditions of women. Based on the technical findings, the work makes recommendations how to adjust a diet in a suitable way. Practical part includes the questionnaire inquiry which is aimed at women's eating habits and their experience with reduction diets. The individual results are evaluated and discussed in the conclusion of the study. The results of the questionnaire survey indicate apparent lack of information of middle - aged women especially in terms of health risks related to reduction diets.
Rakovnik altar

Bachelor thesis entitled Rakovnik's altar deals with four both sides painted panels, which formed wings of the late gothic altar in the church of St. Bartholomew in Rakovnik. It aims to create a monograph as a basis of further research. The thesis generally describes the historical context, the city Rakovnik and the church of St. Bartholomew. It subsequently describes the panels, gives characteristics of the authors of the altar and the basis of their art. All this is set into the contemporary context of panel painting. The work captured the movement of panels and their restoration. The important parts of the thesis are original graphic material, basis iconography and trace analogies.
Phenomenon of water in mining - gold panning, findings of ore mills in Slovakia.

Fajta, M. 2015: Phenomenon of water in mining - gold panning, findings of ore mills in Slovakia. [Master's thesis] Water has always been closely associated with the mining and processing of precious metals. Either it served as a secondary source from which gold was gained by gold-washing, or as a tool for further processing of primary mined ore. Thesis is divided into two sections which describe both of these options. In the first part, thesis deals with gold-panning. It describes sources for the history study of gold-panning in Slovakia and it presents current state of research. On the basis of historical knowledge from "De Re Metallica libri XII." (G. Agricola 1556) are presented the different types of chutes, which are used for gold-washing. This section also includes excursion about mining archaeology and excursion about origin and appearance of gold in Slovakia. The second part describes different steps in the processing of primary mined ores. Since there was no archaeological research of medieval facilities for processing ores in Slovakia, in the paper are presented examples of two researches of mining facilities from Czech Republic.
